Who we are

Mountain homes ask more of a builder.

We're named for the Sawatch Range — home to Colorado's highest peaks — because that's the standard we build to. Heavy snow loads, freeze-thaw cycles, short build seasons, and the logistics of getting quality trades to job sites.

Our experience runs the full range — from architect-led custom work alongside the Valley's leading design firms to owner-driven renovations, and everything in between. The scale changes; the standard doesn't.

We work primarily under cost-plus agreements with open-book accounting, so you always know where your money is going. No surprises, no padding, no runaround.

We keep our project load small on purpose. When we take on your home, you get us — on site, on the phone, and accountable from demo day to final walkthrough.

What we do

Residential construction, end to end.

New construction

Ground-up custom homes, from excavation and foundations through final finish — built to mountain conditions.

Additions

New square footage tied cleanly into existing structure — foundations through finish.

Remodels

From single rooms to full-scope renovations — reworking layout, systems, and finishes while respecting the bones of the house.

Structural work

Steel, engineered framing, and foundation work, coordinated with licensed structural engineers.

Exterior renovations

Roofing, stone veneer, metal panel, decks, and drainage — building envelopes made for alpine weather.

Project management

Professional management of your build — schedules, budgets, and trade coordination — including owner's representation for those building from afar.

How we work

A clear path from first call to final walkthrough.

01 / Consultation

Walk the project

We meet on site, talk through your goals, and give you an honest read on scope, budget range, and timing.

02 / Pre-construction

Budget & bids

Detailed schedule of values, competitive subcontractor bids, permitting, and a working schedule you can hold us to.

03 / Construction

Build it right

Daily field leadership, coordinated inspections, and monthly pay applications with full backup documentation.

04 / Closeout

Hand over clean

Final inspections, punch list, warranty documentation, and a home that's ready to live in.

Open-book building

You see every number we see.

Cost-plus construction only works when the owner trusts the books. Ours are open — every invoice, every bid, every change — organized to AIA standards and delivered on a predictable monthly rhythm.
